Impressive, power house of back up power sources!
Impressive!!!A few cranks and radio station not only came in, but sounded amazingly good!!This weather radio has everything a survival, prepper or the average person could need in a power outage. Short term ideal radio alerts, am/fm, solar power, battery backup, flashlight, NOAA, hand crank power and will charge usb ports for phone or other items.Of course this small radio can only do so much, but an impressive small power house!Lightweight, everything folds in and covered for easy backpacking or home emergency.Definitely a great value!! It has so many features and all are great!!!

Well designed, simple and very functional.
This radio is very well designed. The crank is well placed below and tucked in. The solar panel is large and a monocrystlalline type which is more efficient than the polycrystalline type. It pops and swivels out and on the backside of the solar panel is the lamp. The radio is great which my favorite part because I have lot of different radios and this radio when I turn it on, especially to FM the reception signal strength is pretty good. Very simplistic and classic style buttons and dials which turns on the radio and doubles as a volume dial as well. You have a side tuning dial for the normal radio and a separate dial on the front next to the volume dial for the weather channel. Overall I love the design, the battery and especially the large solar panel. It’s chargeable in three ways…plug in, crank and solar. There is also a spot behind.the solar panel for AAA batteries and on the front there is a switch to go from Lithium to AAA. There is also a USB output plug as well. Functionality wise I would say this could be a great travel,camping and emergency radio to have for the cost. I got a lightning deal so I paid $39 which I feel is a great price for the build quality of the radio. Hopefully it gets cheaper in the days ahead, I would like buy another as a present for my buddy.

This is the best made portable radio I have, and I have many including another “emergency” radio that is junk compared to this. I wasnt sure what to expect. It’s VERY solid, it’s like a brick (in the good way). When you put it down it doesnt fall over, weighty, flat sides/bottom, stays PUT. Quality look and feel throughout every function and all work as described. The sound so far exceeds what you normally get in a radio thats for energency use, or not. Even if you want a super solid great sounding radio and dont need the crank generator and lighting features, seriously buy it for the quality, grest looks and smooth room-filling sound. All the switches and knobs operate beautifully. This looks and feels like a government radio used in the military. And added bonus is loud hi-decible siren w/strobe, strong panel light behind solar panel that lights your room or path very widely and has lower setting for softer reading-type light. Love the strong included Lithium Ion cell. Easily recharges from large monocrystaline solar panel (mono is the much better and more efficient panel over the cheaper poly type). Folds away flat when not in use. Has included USB-C charging cable. This radio plays all day with no problem with the Li-ion rechargeable batterly, and you can add your own aaa cells (3) if you want. Get yourself this solid brick of a radio. And if/when there is an energency you will be extra glad you picked this. It looks/sounds/feels much better in person. Good tuner, pulls in stations strongly and clearly. Radio construction has some weather/water resistance to it.

Solar panel works!
It works as advertised! I was able to fully charge one smart phone from low battery level to 5 days of full sunlight by exposing the solar panel from the sun by placing it in my bedroom window. It did not indicate what level the battery was after 5 days and it took more than 2 hours to fully charge my phone. The FM/AM/WB/alarm sounds are all loud and clear. Flashlight is very bright and my favorite one is the reading light that lasted more than 12 hours plus radio turned on at the same time by using the rechargeable batteries after fully charged. It took more than 4 hours to fully charge the radio’s rechargeable batteries. This is the only radio that I found with the largest solar panel and it is truly an emergency radio.

Nice little radio.
Great for camping or day at the beach or emergency… Etc etc!. The lights are bright. Got a good sound for a single speaker radio.. Play it all day or longer on a full charge… Love the solar charge.. Hand crank charge works great.. Or you can put back up batteries in it if for any reason if you should need too.
