Vitamin D3 + K2 was the first supplement I ever purchased from Sports Research and this decision eventually led to me relying on this company for a number of my supplements.Sports Research’s D3 product first earned my respect when I had changed over to them due to poor testing results in my D3 lab work. I didn’t change my dose, only the brand, yet five months later when I had my next round of labs completed my doctor asked “What did you change on your vitamin D intake?” My Vitamin D numbers had improved significantly.While I find that they are usually not the least expensive alternative, I have nonetheless determined that Sports Research has high quality products that deliver what they claim and are worth the price. I have changed over a number of my other supplements to this brand due to their reliable quality and the consistent good results I receive from using them.I also like that Sports Research products are produced in a USA cGMP facility. While all supplements sold in the USA (even ones made in other countries) are technically subject to cGMP rules, the reality of the situation is that USA production is a plus. USA producers are subject to on-site FDA inspections, whereas foreign produced products are almost entirely cGMP compliant only via paperwork and promises. While the FDA does have a handful of overseas inspection teams, they generally only inspect pharmaceuticals and don’t bother with supplement products.If you have been struggling to get your Vitamin D numbers up, this is the way to do it in my experience. Sport’s Research’s Vitamin D3 + K2 has delivered documented results for me. The K2 works in synergy with the D3 to increase the overall absorption rate. I take 2 of these daily (one in the morning and one at dinner) and my Vitamin D3 levels have been reliably right where my physician wants them for some time now.

High strength vitamin D in a small pill
Very small and easy to swallow. They are meant to be taken with a meal containing fat to help them absorb. These do not cause any stomach upset. The price was reasonable for a quality product.

The Sunshine Vitamin!
I actively started taking vitamin D about a year ago when my blood test showed very low levels in my body. In the past 6 months I started taking this particular brand of Vitamin D3 in hopes I could try to continue to raise my vitamin D levels. Well I got my blood results yesterday and my vitamin D level was over 90! Now during this time I also started walking my dog outside so I know I was getting about 10-15 minutes of some sun daily, but I do not think my levels would be this high without this supplement. I will continue to take this every day!!! I do understand why people say it is the sunshine vitamin. I do believe it helps your overall mood and wellbeing. Pills are not large and easy to swallow.
