It’s OK, but …
I was expecting to find it easier to use. To be fair, I read it over before writing this review. It breaks down into about 1/3 history (which I don’t need), syntax and conventions, 1/3 creating databases and tables and 1/3 data manipulation from existing database tables. I only needed the data manipulation part, so for my purposes it could have been half the size. So far I’ve reached for a book rather than this reference, but maybe that will change. Like the book, it doesn’t seem to include the UNION command, which I’ve used a few times.
