A Helpful Guide That Teens Will Actually Us
It teaches many important skills that honestly I wish I learned earlier. Some parts felt a bit long but the ideas were still very useful. The book talks a lot about confidence and emotions and it really makes sense even if you are not into self help. I liked how simple the explanations are so teens can understand it without feeling bored. The examples felt real and relatable and that made the lessons easier to remember. I did notice a few moments where it felt a bit repetitive but overall it still helped a lot. This is a book teens can pick up anytime and get something helpful from it. I would recommend it to parents and students who want a little extra push in the right direction.

Great Resource for Teens and Young Adults
I picked this up hoping it might be useful for my kids, but my oldest is only nine, and they’re definitely too young for this. It’s much more suited for someone a bit older. The book covers some really great concepts like strengthening social skills, emotional maturity, and de-escalating situations. The sections on friendship audits and non-verbal communication cues are especially insightful. I was trying to push the limit a bit, but I’d say this book is probably best for a young adult—even a seventeen-year-old might not be ready for some of these ideas. What do I know, though? The concepts are great, even for adults.

I buy this for my teenager but I read the first chapters first. The tone is friendly and clear, never talking down. The steps on time management, confidence, and handling emotions are easy to follow, with quick exercises. I’m glad we have it at home now and I will find a good moment to give it to my son. Reading is not ‘his thing’ so it must be on a good moment, maybe read from it at dinner and just laugh a little about and hope the message will stay.

Some invaluable advice for teens in this book that covers social skills, time management, finance, stress management and maybe most importantly developing a growth mindset. I would recommend this book to any teen and even better if the parent can be part of this learning opportunity.
