Great spacious pack. I have no complaints other than the unnecessary dividers in the main pocket and no lap or chest strap. That being said, I knew it didn’t have those straps when I purchased it. It gets used daily and has traveled manyiles with me. Great pack.

High quality, great looking, but laptop compartment is not top-loading and takes too much space
I loved the heavy duty grab handle + zipper pulls. This pack looks great and seemed like it would be very durable. The glasses pouch and other small snack/accessory pockets were very well designed. However, I ended up returning this bag without using because of the laptop compartment.I got the bag to carry a laptop but I no longer bring a full laptop on many trips. The laptop area could be used for other things but not ideal, so that area adds too much bulk / wasted space if not used for a laptop. Also it was pretty big for a 15-inch laptop. It’s TSA-friendly so it fully unzips to allow the laptop to be laid flat without removing. However in the past, many airports required full removal of laptops anyway. A full zipper allows the laptop part to be folded away from the rest of the bag. The laptop itself is in a compartment which has a side zipper (zips only on one side of the bag and only to the top-middle). The laptop is secured in by just a velcro strap to the side and the side zipper. That’s less secure and not as easy to load as a top loading laptop pocket. Think of your backpack upright on the floor beside you; a laptop slips easily in/out thru a top-load pocket. With this pack, you have to unzip the side zipper to the floor and stick the laptop in from the side at an angle to slip into the velcro strap OR you could turn the pack on its side to then insert the laptop downward. There aren’t many heavy laptops anymore but the side velcro strap and side zipper would be a bit riskier. The TSA friendliness would be great for airports that allow that, but the laptop is slower to remove when required.More recently, some airports want you to leave everything in your bag. In that case, you don’t need a TSA friendly pocket at all. The full zipper and the allowance for a 17-inch laptop add extra bulk, and that space is not very useful for other purposes. A 17-inch laptop would also be hard to insert/remove from the pocket without refastening the velcro strap each time. If a trip needs just a tablet or even no large device, then this pack will have too much bulky unused space that can’t be flexibly used for other stuff.I wanted to love this pack. The red was awesome. In the end, this pack needs a redesign for the tablet and small laptop era. Keep the heavy duty components, no TSA full zip, top loading laptop pocket, more flexible space.

Well padded, heavy duty
I ordered this is my work bag to hold a and laptop and work equipment. It has wonderful pockets. It even has RFID protection in the card pocket. It’s well. Padded which makes it a little bit heavy, but it is dirty and durable that it has good size drink pockets for a larger canteens. It also has air vents in the side pockets. Overall, I love the color, especially when everyone at work comes in with the bag cheesy to identify mine. It has a son on carabiner which is great but it also has a key holder in the RFID card pocket. Overall, this is an excellent bag for caring and protecting electronic equipment, snacks and drinks. The pockets are secure so you can keep your perishables separate from papers and things that can get damaged. Every Swiss bag I’ve ever owned has been wonderful

This is by far the best laptop case on the market. I am sure there may be better ones but the price tag would be much higher. The bag is large enough to store my laptop and all of the accessories. In fact most of my office fits in here. The case and contents have survived multiple airport security screenings. The bag waterproof as evidenced by several coffee spills and child drink mishaps. This is a road warrior’s best friend. Another important observation is that the bag still looks new after all that abuse.
