UPDATE and an extra star
UPDATE:These have really proven to be fantastic headphones after 6 months of use. After the initial mess of getting connected to the PS4, I have never had to pair them again, even though the dongle routinely gets popped out and plugged back in. They also pair beautifully with my laptop. I have never noticed a lag when playing games on either device with these headphones. For the exceptionally low price, they are definitely worth getting!PS4 actually does work, but the instructions suck.If you’re trying to connect to a PS4 and you try to use the absolutely useless instructions provided, you’re not going to get anywhere but in the “return products” line.To get this to connect to PS4:1. Do NOT use the Bluetooth settings.2. Switch the headphones to 2.4G using the switch on the back side of the right earpiece.3. Plug the dongle into the USB-A on the front of the PS4. The green light on the dongle will blink slowly.4. Turn your headphones on and put them into pairing by holding the power and 7.1 buttons on the back side of the left earpiece. Hold these for about 5 seconds or so to pair the headphones to the dongle. It should autoconnect the headphones (At least it did for me, but I had also wasted an hour trying to get the Bluetooth to work. So there may be some connecting that you have to do through the audio devices settings on the PS4.)If you manage to get connected, you’ll find the headphones to be very comfortable and the audio truly is fantastic. So overall super pleased with the product itself but the company loses a star from me because their instructions are complete trash and wasted my time.

A shocking surprise!
I auditioned 6 or 7 inexpensive pairs of headsets – Headphones with mics for gaming. All were around the $30 price. Some were pathetic in quality, but some were exceptional values. I should state that I was in the electronics industry for around 35 years, often selling high end audiophile gear. Now, none of these headsets were what most would classify as audiophile quality, some were damn fun to listen to. Very enjoyable! This Tatybo brand is exactly that! Overall pretty accurate in their balance and ability to deliver very deep and tight bass and exceptional vocal and midrange, with clean and not harsh treble. I use these for watching TV, movies, and listening to music where convenience is king. Gaming eventually, but not so far. Wireless bluetooth instant connectivity to your previously paired source. These were the only pair of headsets that had the 7.1 surround sound button. They certainly give a very spacious & full sound with an enjoyable sound. Accurate, probably not, but well balanced & enjoyable to listen to? Damn straight! Funny thing is, this Tatybo headset was probably the cheapest headset of the ones I chose to compare. They ended up being only around $28 ! Yeah, I didn’t expect much, but got a pleasant surprise in the overall sound, quality, weight, & build. I can’t imagine anyone wouldn’t like these low cost alternatives to the over priced products on the market! Fun to listen to without any harshness or something that makes you want to get them off your ears as fast as you can. lolThese ended up being an overwhelmingly awesome surprise, & I highly recommend them! This for under $30? WOW! Yes please!!!

If you have a huge head, look elsewhere. Otherwise decent.
Honestly I like them quite a bit, but I just have a giant freaking head and they don’t fit quite right. If they were slightly larger I wouldn’t be considering returning them. Battery life is reasonable at around 18hrs or so, they’re super light and sound as good as other mid-to-low range headphones I’ve tried. The wireless USB connectivity is impressive. Very little delay, if any. Range is upwards of 30 feet through walls. I can start a podcast and move about the basement and 1st floor of my house pretty freely. USB-C charging is nice as well. Not in love the with the rainbow breathing RGB but it’s not offensive either. Which I could dial it in, but it’s expected for a cheaper product. Bluetooth is similarly decent, but I don’t use it very often since I know BT eats battery. The included USB dongle with type A and C is the whole reason I bought these.I’m still debating keeping them with some modifications or trying to find another more adjustable set of cheap cans.

Great starter gaming headset for a kid or new gamer
So, the first question… Yes, this headset works with the Nintendo Switch and allows you to use the microphone. We specifically bought this to use on the Nintendo Switch, as we’ve had a hell of a time getting a mic to work in Fortnite. The headset comes with a double sided USB-A and USB-C adapter and plugging it into the dock and turning on the headset, it pairs immediately. We have not tried via bluetooth, but I’m sure that would work… although the mic wouldn’t. To use the mic on the Nintendo Switch, I think you need to use the 2.4ghz adapte.rThe headset itself its a bit plasticy feeling, but extremely comfortable and the cups fit over the ears nicely. Fits a 9yo’s head perfectly without issue. It comes with a removeable 3.5MM style mic that plugs into the front and is somewhat flexible… although it does bend a bit back. We have found that the little foam cover over the mic seems to cause volume issues on the other end, so we just removed it and everything seems to be better now. There is an audio dial on the side, which controls volume of the headset in sync with the Switch with is cool. Also, when we turn off the headset by holding the power button, the audio doesn’t seem to switch back to the Switch, so we just unplug the adapter when not using it and the audio switches right back. All in all, this is very good for the price… and it works for the Switch which was key. Haven’t tried in other games other than Fortnite, but works perfectly in that and the headset charges via USB-C, which is also great.
