Brightly colored and accurate readings
I started using meat thermometers years ago, after serving pink undercooked hamburgers several times. I am embarrassed no more! Meat thermometers have been the root to my success.I chose the ThermoPro Meat Thermometer for its bright easy to see color and for its brand name. ThermoPro has a reputation for quality products and the meat thermometer lives up to the reputation.Easy to use, it releases its probe smoothly. Love that it turns on automatically when you open the probe. It fits nicely in your hand and the probe is long (and short) enough to easily temp even large pieces of meat. Works for either F or C. The read out is easy to see / read. Feels substantial and appears to be well made. Great value for the money. Would recommend.

The best food thermometer ever!
I really like this food thermometer. Because of its magnet, it stores so nicely on the side of the refrigerator for quick use. It reads food temps quickly and accurately. It’s water resistant so I don’t have to be too careful of if when I’m washing it. The screen is easily readable in whatever position I’m using it.

I actually bought these to use on geothermal heating/ac equipment to test the water and air temperatures. They work great! Especially with the thinner probe end which allows the thermometer to slide into the test port extremely easy. The accuracy is actually better than most of the thermometer that we can buy that are sold to the HVAC industry. Even better is that they are 2/3 to 1/2 the price of the HVAC industry thermometers. The back light and size of the numbers make it easy to read and when flipped the numbers automatically flip upright.

I broke my previous model of this device and I bought this to replace the broken one.It works okay, with a few nice upgrades:* The thingy comes on when you “open” the metal wand that you stick into the thing you’re checking* The backlight comes on by default* It can withstand light cleaning (I wouldn’t soak it in water, but you can quickly rinse it or wipe it down with a soapy sponge to get rid of any grease)The thing that I didn’t like was that it felt “slow” when measuring a temperature. It could just be that I forget the speed of the previous version of this product.If you are measuring something hot in the oven, you will likely be uncomfortable at the heat while you wait for the probe to figure out the temperature.Temperature accuracy is good. It works well. It’s “techy” looking and that’s fine. But it’s really easier to use than the design implies.The thermometer turns off automatically when you snap the probe back into place.

Digital Thermometer – Every Kitchen Needs One (Or Two!)
Every kitchen needs a thermometer, and a digital thermometer is the way to go. The TempPro TP19H Digital Meat Thermometer is an excellent, affordable, and convenient kitchen thermometer. The magnetic back is really helpful, allowing the thermometer to be stuck to the front of the stove or dishwasher or range hood, keeping it conveniently handy for immediate use. This unit provides the temperature quickly, which is essential when probing meat on a BBQ where the heat is high, or probing something in a steaming hot pot.I tested the unit by probing slush ice water and boiling water, and the probe is pretty spot on with temperatures at these two extremes, suggesting the unit is robust over the entire readable range.

Brought this Thermometer since I wanted to make perfect cooked meat as it quite difficult for me without. Now that I used it, My steak Taste amazing and cooked perfectly! Thanks to the IP65 rating I can rinse it with water Easily. It has a Amazing lit display, The Celcius and Fahrenheit is Near Impossible to press on accident, It automatically rotates if you’re a left handed person and holds on the left hand, And one of the Greatest Part. When cooking for a while and leaving the thermometer on the table, It would automatically turn on once lifted. This Thermometer Is amazing and quite accurate. Batteries included. I would Recommend this to anyone cooking Meat And want it cooked exactly.

The power button ultimately failed on the old reader. This model automatically turns on when you unlatch the probe. The time-out feature and auto on when picked up is wonderful. No need to wipe the probe before latching it back in the slot. I find the Temps to read accurately, but the instructions on how to calibrate it over time is handy.
