Understand human behavior and social psychology – and then you can understand yourself and the people around you.
Let’s face it – most of the problems that we encounter in our lives aren’t about the situation, it’s about the person in front of you. Whether it’s a parent, sibling, co-worker, or even significant other, there might be a gap in understanding. That’s reasonable and normal.
But what if you could learn to understand people, their motivations, what makes them tick, and ultimately how to connect with them better? This is renowned author Patrick King’s specialty: distilled emotional intelligence that helps you decipher why people do the things that they do.
He combines his natural instinct for human analysis with a plethora of the latest scientific research in the field to bring you the end result you want: better relationships, high self-esteem and confidence, self-understanding, and overall fulfillment and happiness.

Great insights
I picked up several great insights concerning self-awareness as a result of this book. It also blew the dust of many things I’ve learned in the past.

Great read!
Well written & explained the concepts and levels of becoming self aware well. I recommend every reader interested in the subject to grab a copy & read it!

The insights and stratagies are helpful, but…
An otherwise decent self-help book marred by the unfortunate use of too many exclamation points!

CORE VALUES
Outstanding, thought provoking. Changed the way I talk to myself and think. I am so much more aware of the what. What am I feeling instead of just whyt

Concise & To The Point
Great book! A clear and concise path to self awareness. It’s direct and to the point without a lot of fluff. Practical ideas that can be applied to daily life. Helps you explore the hidden pre conceived notions and operational filters in use on a daily basis.Only distraction is that the font size is slightly large, which causes a lot of spacing between some words. Also, there are several grammatical mistakes that should have been addressed during the editing process.

Non gli ho dato 5 stelle perche’ non presenta una vera metodologia strutturata per superare i propri autoinganni. Offre comunque molte tips interessanti. In ogni modo, consigliabile e di agile lettura. Utilissimo il riassuntone finale.

A real mind changing. Some of concepts were already known but with all this practical information made me see new things about my self and others. I totally recommend this reading to leaders that want to rise their leaderships or to who wants to get better general relationships.
