Fantastic resource for middle schoolers who struggle with Math
This book has been incredibly helpful for our middle schoolers. My husband is more of the math whiz in our family and he said that out of all the math books he has come across, this one is the best! We also own the Big Fat Math Notebook as well. Both are great! It does a fantastic job of breaking down the information, showing lots of examples, and then providing lots of different problems for the kids to work on themselves. We’ve used this over the summer twice now for our middle schoolers and both kids have said it helped a lot. We had them each do one lesson a day and then my husband went over the questions they struggled with if needed. All the answers are in the back of the book, which is helpful for parents. It covered things they struggled to understand during the school year and gave them a better understanding. Would highly recommend if you have a kiddo who struggles with math!

Very helpful short simple and clear
The context and explanation is very clear and simple to follow along. The letters are bold enough to grab my daughter’s attention. It’s honestly better to get both the notebook and workbook.

Very colorful and useful.
I bought this product for my son because he was going into middle school and he wanted to do some extra math practice. I have been using normal math workbooks for years now and my kids dislike it. But this book is very good. My son likes it very much. He thinks the colorful illustrations and all the helpful notes are very good for his middle school. Would recommend.

Super helpful to middle schoolers! Worried about being behind
Omg this book is so awesome my daughter is learning so much from just this book! She studies in it nightly, and then answers questions! Then me and her review with the answers in the back! I really think this is gonna save her from worrying about any trouble on learning. Buy this asap it’s awesome for middle schoolers!

good book.
In our house this is the “parent book” so I can read up on and figure out the math that the child is working on learning. It’s laid out well for that and gives good concise examples. A lot of it for me is review so just a little paragraph is enough to get me to remember so I can help with homework.

Love this book series and have them on kindle as well.
8th Grade Homeschool Review:As a parent and homeschool educator, I’ve been using a set of books for 8th-grade homeschooling, and I’d like to share my thoughts. These books have proven to be a valuable resource in our homeschool journey. They provide a solid foundation for various subjects, covering a wide range of topics essential for 8th-grade students. What I appreciate most about these books is their comprehensive approach. They offer a well-structured curriculum that allows students to delve into subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. The content is clear, and the exercises and activities help reinforce the learning process. However, it’s worth noting that while these books are fantastic as guides, they might not provide all the answers. As with any educational materials, there may be moments when students need additional support or clarification. In such cases, we’ve found supplemental videos and other educational resources to be incredibly helpful. The combination of these books and supplementary materials has been the key to a well-rounded education.Subnote:This review is intended to serve as a general overview for all the books I’m currently using for 8th-grade homeschooling. If any of the books stand out, either for their exceptional quality or shortcomings, I will provide a more detailed review for that specific book. It’s all about ensuring that our homeschooling experience is as enriching as possible.

Child approved
This breaks down the math that you are learning into easy-to-understand segments. I would suggest purchasing this book for middle school students no matter what school structure they have. Great for Home schooling in my opinion. The best part is when your child who hates math is now eager to do the math. It has been a game changer!

My daughter has always struggled with learning math. We bought this book for her, hoping it would help her with the basics and let her move though at her own pace. The instructions are short, simple and thorough and the exercises are enough for her to practice what she just learned without getting overwhelmed. She has been able to go through the units and chapters on her own, with minimal help from us and get the answers correct.I highly recommend this book for anyone whose child is struggling with math, or is self teaching new concepts. I’m going to be ordering the rest of the books for her.
