Fun book of Extrodinary Facts for the whole family
I purchased several of these books for a very good deal on Amazon. I like reading about facts that I don’t know about and being enlightened. While these books are jamb packed with information, they are easy to read and the pages are made of really nice paper. You almost feel like you are reading a book from an era gone by. I like ot discuss what I learned with my husband, sometimes we even look at the books together. The facts are not only interesting but a good teaching tool even at our age. It just shows there is so much out there that we didn’t know about until reading these books. Its likee getting a trivia game but not having to wait your turn. Plus you can read as much of the information on each subject or just skip onto the next fact. There is no right or wrong way to use these books but I have to tell you I am devouring them.

I don’t know why anybody would complain about this book! The pages were not thin at all! It came in perfect condition. Apparently it is also part of a series of books which I am looking forward to giving to my brother during the yr! He has always been obsessed with facts and always has some tidbit of information. He always wants to share. I thought oh, this is just perfect! Amazon also has the lowest price. This will definitely keep him busy for a long time! I can’t wait for him to open it for the holidays.

A fun read, but needs better fact-checking.
Nice assortment of reading that I have been using to inspire trivia questions, but I have noticed that there are a lot of urban legends and classic disproven myths that have made their way into the text and are presented as facts. So take the “facts” with a grain of salt.Since it is presented as a fun read, not a reference tome, I give it some allowance for perpetuating myths like the belief that Godzilla vs King Kong had different winners in the US version and the Japanese version (they didn’t, Kong won in both). So read, enjoy, but be careful inculcating the “facts” into your brain.

I bought three of them, with different titles, for my library so that I could have them, study them, and learn about the facts of this world I live in. These are interesting facts, little known to the general population but I am curious and have been since childhood. These are wonderful books to compliment any office study library.Doesn’t anybody READ anymore?
