    Practical advice grounded in research
What I love about this book is that it takes solid psychological and business research and translates it into very approachable language, with specific tips and action steps. Also, the questions and assignments at the end of each chapter would make it an excellent resource for a book club or other group discussion. I look forward to using it as a resource to revisit frequently.

What an Accountant Taught Me About Happiness
I had the pleasure of attending a conference where Dr. Harmon was a speaker and signed up for his breakout session on this very topic. I’ll admit—when I saw he had a Ph.D. in accounting, my first thought was, what would an accountant know about happiness? Truthfully, I registered thinking I might use the time to catch up on email.I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the start, Dr. Harmon completely pulled me in. He was engaging, insightful, and incredibly effective at driving his message home. By the end of the session, I was genuinely surprised at how impactful it was.So when I later discovered he had written a book on the subject, I was delighted. This is a quick, approachable read packed with meaningful insights and truly actionable advice—not fluff. I found it valuable enough that I ended up buying several copies to give as gifts to friends and family.Highly recommend.

This book delivers exactly what its title promises
I love to read! Over the past few years, I’ve focused on books that help me grow into a better version of myself — a whole person — while discovering who I truly is as an individual. The Happiness Handbook by Dr. Ken Harmon and Ashley Harmon-Poston is my latest read, and I feel compelled to share it with anyone who wants to enrich their life and cultivate greater happiness. This book delivers exactly what its title promises — a concise, easy-to-read guide that offers practical lessons on what true happiness means and how to bring more of it into your daily life. The authors, a father and daughter, share 5 clear lessons that encourages readers to reflect, reset, and take intentional steps toward greater joy and contentment.A few of my impactful takeaways were:1. Recognizing that venting is simply another form of complaining — and that complaining never leads us closer to happiness.2. Learning how to reset your mindset when worry takes over.3. Embracing gratitude in its truest form by saying “thank you” for everything, big or small. This is a quick but powerful read, filled with insights that can shift your perspective and help you create a happier, more mindful life. And, who doesn’t want that!? I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a simple yet effective guide to cultivating happiness.I recommend you get one today!Have a HAPPY DAY 😊

    Highly Recommend, great companion book
This is a beautiful companion to the main book. I purchased it for a friend who is grieving, and it has provided comfort and support. I’m planning to buy more to have on hand. Highly recommend!
