Let’s go on a worldwide adventure!
Grab your comfy shoes and put on your thinking caps it’s time to join Carlos the capybara, Pip the penguin and Ellie the elephant on a journey around the world. Make sure you have your compass rose because you can’t be the “guide to the jungle clearing” without one! What is a compass rose you ask? Never fear The Only World Geography Activity Book has you covered. Not only will it tell you what it is and why you need one it’ll even show you how to make one. After you’ve made your compass rose you will embark on your first stop, Asia. You will explore the land of dragons, deserts and dumplings all while having loads of fun. Next you’re off to the land of kings/queens, rivers and ravioli! Once you’ve had your fill of royals and pasta in enchanting Europe you will head to the Amazing America’s, the home of salsa and snow. Had your fill of snow? That’s ok because your next adventure is to Africa, the home of desert sands and jungles! Finally it’s a trip to the land down under, Oceania. Whew! I’m tired!During each stop of your adventure you will learn the geography of the area including all the countries in the area, major geographical points, information on the people and traditions and fun facts. Each section includes quick facts, pre-quizzes (to determine prior knowledge on the area), fun/engaging activities to really drive the lessons home, post quizzes (to determine what they actually learned) and more. Concerned you’re not ready to teach your elementary age child all this great information because you don’t know the answers, never fear The Only Geography Activity book includes an answer guide so you’ll never be left looking like a dunce! If you’re ready to adventure around the world with your kid but never leave your comfy sofa this is the book for you!

Truly age-appropriate, worked beautifully for both my 1st grader and my Pre-K child.
I was really impressed with this geography activity book. It’s genuinely age-appropriate without watering anything down. I used it with my 1st grader, but I was also able to adapt it for my Pre-K child by reading aloud and doing the activities side-by-side, very hands-on and sensory-friendly. It felt like true family learning instead of a worksheet dump. What I appreciated most were the cultural layers woven in that you don’t normally see in kids’ geography books. Yes, it covers landmarks and maps, but it also integrates things like:Celebrated historical figures such as Wangarĩ Maathai, Rumi, and Simón Bolívar, not just “famous explorers”Foods from each region (not just pizza and sushi, but jollof rice, injera, tamales, and plov)Real cultural practices like the Vanuatu fire dance and underground Māori hangi feastsReligious and linguistic diversity noted respectfully, not glossed overLandmarks outside the “usual suspects” e.g., the Registan in Uzbekistan, Petra in Jordan, and the Great Mosque of DjennéInstead of reducing continents to stereotypes, it treats kids like capable thinkers, it invites them to notice, compare, and ask questions about how people live, eat, celebrate, and build in different parts of the world. It does this in a way that feels celebratory, not heavy. The activities are varied, mapping, matching, mini-quizzes, doodles, word searches, and they actually reinforce content rather than just fill space. The pacing made it easy to do a few pages a day without losing engagement.Overall, a very well-done resource. Thoughtful, culturally rich, and easy to use across multiple ages with small adjustments. Would absolutely recommend for homeschoolers or anyone wanting a warm, human-centered introduction to world geography.

A Fun, Engaging Way to Explore the World with Kids
This isn’t your typical geography workbook, it’s colorful, interactive, and packed with over 250 fun facts and challenges that make learning geography exciting. What I loved most is how it sparks curiosity. Instead of dry exercises, it uses puzzles, games, and creative prompts to help kids build map skills and learn about different cultures. It’s the kind of book that makes kids want to keep flipping pages, and I found myself learning a few new things too!The layout is super kid-friendly, and the mix of activities keeps things fresh. Whether it’s decoding flags, exploring continents, or learning quirky facts about countries, it’s all presented in a way that feels like play—not schoolwork. If you’re looking for a way to introduce geography in a fun, meaningful way, this book is a fantastic choice. It’s perfect for homeschoolers, classroom enrichment, or just curious kids who love learning about the world.

Great for homeschooling elementary
This is amazing! I homeschool and I think my kids, 1st and 2nd grade, are going to love working out of this. It involves geography tidbits that I wouldn’t have known to deep so in depth. Like right now I’m teach my 1st grader the continents just like I did for my oldest child in first grade. Now I’m going to have to go back with this book and teach my oldest more in depth using this. It also includes quizzes and cool facts so I don’t have to do extra leg work on these lessons. It’s all in one place.
