    Beautiful enduring and insightful gems
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this book, a couple of chapters at a time, during 6 months of continuing health struggles and challenges. I read at bedtime, before I do my meditation. I plan to read my highlighted areas over and over again but there are so many of them. Every one is a beautiful diamond gem reflecting brilliant light and the clear vision of new perspective. They give me such hope. Thank you so much to the author and I highly recommend!

    Great find.
I love this book. The stories in it are so inspiring. The messages are relatable and easy to remember. I read it often and told many people about it. One of the best books I have read on Buddhism.

    Overflowing with calm, gentle advice.
I love this book and I’ll read it over and over. It’s not for fixing your problems; however, to see them differently. And just as important, how to celebrate your life as it is.

    It will change your life!
When ordering make sure the author is correct. There are other books with this title.I enjoyed the daily read of only onechapter, then journaling how it applied to me.

    Inspiring book of short stories
I love this book of short encouraging stories. The stories are 3-4 pages each and I read a story every day to inspire me and give me a sense of peace. They each give a message of hope, mindfulness and offer provoking thoughts. Highly recommend it to start you day on a positive note!

    Too simplistic
I think this book is too simplistic. All of the ideas are good and solid but realistically take years to master. In each of the stories one person (a Master or a monk) has an encounter with another person (a shepherd or a student) and in a matter of minutes teaches that person a life lesson. The learning just does not occur that fast! These things take years of practice to master and even then we are always students, always learning. So, keep in mind that you cannot learn these things in the space of 3 pages.
