Exactly What a Time Management Book Should Be
I saw my unorganized life unfold on the pages of this book. When things aren’t going smoothly, you just need someone on the outside to have a look in and give you permission to do it differently. This is what the author does in the book. She completely understands what it means to be successful in business and have meaningful time with your family. She’s had her own time management issues, she’s solved them and I got the benefit of her experience.Holly lists the perfect apps and resources you need to execute her time management ideas. She puts them in the chapters and gives you a big list at the end. There’s an app for that! This book was an immediate cure for some of the overwhelm I get when I’m really busy. I’ve already implemented one of her strategies on goal setting this week on my blog.

Short and sweet but not new
It’s like a combination of gtd and 4hww. With some digital literacy thrown in. It combines all these into a nice short book with the best parts of its sources and (nearly) every word earns its place. Quick read would maybe recommend to someone as their first time management book(gtd or “Time management for entrepreneurs” are better but don’t cover as much.)

Practical instead of mystical advice and strategies
I like the way Ms. Hanna stressed the “why” of her methods and how she graciously shared resources. Although it’s a quick read, it still will not waste your time.

Useful book but not for everyone.
I am an industrial engineer with some experience in project management and people management. Because of this, I am always on the lookout for Improvement opportunities to ensure I am on top of my game. When I saw the opportunity to review this book about time management I jumped on it.This book is not a bad book. It takes several known resource management techniques such as setting SMART objectives or 5S implementation techniques and waters them down. Then it applies them to your day to day in a practical manner. It sprinkles the occasional anecdote throughout, and tells you what to do. It is good for concise advice and practical time management tips. That being said, to me, this book is in a tough spot: if you know about the techniques they are teaching you is too basic, if you don’t (even with the occasional anecdotes) is too boring. It is very useful, I am just not sure to what target audience. If my review helped you in any way, please let me know by clicking the “helpful” button below. Any questions you may have, feel free to ask… Thank you!

Solid overview
solid overview of how to begin learning the process of managing time. I like how Holly discusses broad principles and not just “tips and tricks.”

I loved the breakdown and options given, and that you can choose which you can use and implement. The helpful boxes that give you tasks to do.

Plenty of practical tips to help organise your time better. Some seem a little obvious but it’s good to remind yourself. Particularly liked sections on organising emails, blocking time for tasks and digital detoxes.
