Reliable economical and accurate blood sugar measurement
Worked right out of the box. Accurate measurements. I have used this type of meter since a Type 2 diagnosis 10 years ago, and this is just the second one I have purchased. They are reliable and relatively inexpensive compared to many others.

My daughter is T1D. We use this meter for testing her blood sugar and we’ve really liked it. Comes with tester, poker, some lancets, some test strips, and a bag for it all to go in.

Too Many Error Messages, No Confidence in Accuracy
For economy, I ordered this Kit to replace a different system that I had been using for many years. After using this kit multiple times a day to test it, I have no confidence in the accuracy of its readings. I have enough test supplies remaining from my previous kit to run parallel comparative tests. Since my previous test gear matched my endocrinologist’s lab tests, I trust its readings. First, this True Metrix kit frequently displays a great many error messages before providing a reading. When a reading does appear it is typically 20-30 points off my previous system’s trusted results. Because it is used, I am not returning it. I am throwing it out and going back to my previous system. Maybe others have had a better experience, but I do not recommend this system.
