A great phone on a budget
Good for what it’s worthDecent looking camera, runs decent enoughthe lack of nfc makes tap pay unusable, as well as some money transfer apps dont work (cashapp)the android interface is honestly weird, as its actually trying rather hard to look and act like IOSabout everything i can ask for out of a budget phoneit even came with its own case and screen protector

Cheap for a reason
It’s cheap because it’s junk. The actual phone part of the phone doesn’t even work right. People can’t hear you or you can’t hear them half the time. Had it six weeks and now it won’t even start up. Cannot return it. Junk!

It has limitations, but better than expected.

I originally bought it to test it out, because I was unfamiliar with the Umidigi brand and I needed a phone that could read my SIM card and perform my day-to-day task.To my surprise it did everything I needed it to almost to the letter. There are some obvious limitations, with the OS being Android GO (Basically a lite budget friendly version of Stock Android) it can’t download everything or do everything regular Stock Android can, but it’s good enough if you’re looking for a phone for someone younger or you just need a device to cover the basics without breaking the bank.-The phone itself, it’s not metal but the design of the phone itself is very pretty with only 3 different colors to it, but it’s sleek, not too big or small, with a… I’ll say Apple inspired look to it. Though I can’t speak for how durable it is… I didn’t really want to drop this thing at all.For something you don’t usually get with most flagship brand phones anymore; this device comes with the default transparent case, alongside a type-C cable & Charger port in the same package. And as an added bonus it comes with a (already on) screen protector out the box.More about the G9x:•Can’t do much in terms of decorating your home screen, but if you’re buying this phone you’re looking more for quick convenience rather than personalization.•If you use certain banking apps like Cash app or Chime they won’t work. In fact there are a number of apps that don’t yet or don’t have any plans to have Android GO support. But the traditional Google apps do work (not regular Google search, you get Google GO) as well as all the usual social apps operate just fine.•Video quality is locked in at around 720p on YouTube or the built-in media player, so you’re not getting super high def or 60fps media from this device.•Sound quality isn’t bad, but it’s nothing that’s gonna “Make your party pop off.” It has a single speaker at the bottom next to the charger port and mic, but it gets the job done.•Battery life is… It’s okay, it will get you through the day. But by no means is it lasting you 48 hours of usage (Maybe 10 to 15 hours I guess.)•Phone calls…. I recommend headphones, otherwise you’ll be talking with the device horizontally in hand because it’s so hard to hear from the basement speakers.•Wi-Fi connectivity is decent, however there are times where it struggles to properly communicate with the router which results in longer load times, lagging, or timing out. But for the most part it’s good with staying connected with WiFi that’s a 2.4 frequency.•The camera at 30MP with some AI correction is better than I thought it would be for the price. It’s surprising clear with decent facial recognition, but I wouldn’t be doing any Godiva or Gooche photoshoots with this bad boy anytime soon.-All in all my conclusions is: This phone is really good for the price, supporting most US SIM cards unlocked. It’s a good sidepiece kinda phone, where you could get your kid a phone without paying 6 figures, or you just need a phone to use to float by until your get yourself the main phone you need. The G9x is great for the basics, but if you’re looking for a device for the long haul… I’d advise to look elsewhere.

Da appassionato che ha testato molti telefoni UMIDIGI nel corso del tempo, posso confermare che anche con questo nuovo G9x l’azienda non si smentisce.Ecco perché lo consiglio:Rapporto Qualità/Prezzo Incredibile: È difficile trovare di meglio in questa fascia. Le risorse hardware sono ben ottimizzate (ottima la gestione della RAM dinamica fino a 8GB) e il telefono gestisce le operazioni quotidiane senza problemi.Esperienza d’uso: Come si vede anche dal video, il sistema (basato su Android 14 Go Edition) è molto fluido e reattivo fin dalla prima configurazione. Lo schermo da 6.75″ a 90Hz è luminoso e piacevole da usare.Affidabilità e Robustezza: Confermo la solidità costruttiva tipica del brand; si ha la sensazione di avere in mano un dispositivo durevole e ben assemblato.Dotazione Completa: Un plauso enorme va alla confezione. A differenza di brand molto più costosi, qui UMIDIGI include tutto il necessario. Trovare la cover già presente nella scatola e la pellicola protettiva trasparente applicata (oltre al cavo rosso distintivo) è una comodità impagabile che permette di proteggere il telefono dal primo secondo.In sintesi: se cercate uno smartphone economico, affidabile, con un bel display e completo di accessori, il G9x è assolutamente da prendere in considerazione!!!
