Works Great for Cooling, Just Bigger Than Expected
I got this cooling pad for my old laptop, and it actually works really well. Once I turn on the middle cooling function, the laptop even feels a little icy cold, which is amazing for heat control. The only thing is, I didn’t expect it to be this big, so for my laptop it feels a bit oversized. Also, it comes with a lot of colorful lights, which I personally don’t use. But overall, it does an excellent job at cooling, which is the main thing I needed.

amazing cooling from the middle metal pad
The cooling pad works great with my old 16.4in thinkpad workstation. This laptop used to throttle the performance when it got too hot, and since the laptop is provided by firm, I cannot upgrade it. The cooling pad helps lot to fix the thermal bottlenck issue, it’s like giving a 2nd life to to this old laptop. There is a spring under the middle cooling pad, that makes it good contact with the laptop bottom panel. The 4 fans works smoothly with acceptable noise. It is much better than the laptop struggle under heavy work load.

This cooling stand actually works! My gaming laptop was overheating until I replaced my 5 fan stand with this sctive cooling stand. Now, it runs smoothly and cooler without issues on the same games that caused overheating!

Perfect for my laptop
Overall I truly enjoy this laptop cooler. It has 3 fans setting and multiple lights setting. Lights are cool to use at night or if you use your laptop for gaming. I was confused on how to lift it but easily figured it out after looking at product pictures on Amazon. I have owned this item for a week and I’ve used if 3 times already and I’m impressed. I haven’t had to use the highest fan settings usually just keep it at level 1 and it works great. Definitely worth the price. This one does need to stay connected to a outlet if you have a desk set up that’s nice. I just plug mine in to my couch and use it on my lap. I do feel it is great material and feels sturdy.

Works wonders
These product is great honestly. I have an ASUS Rog Strix laptop with an I9 and 3080TI. My CPU would say running hot on any AAA game. I’d start thermal throttling at 95c. Only way to not have it do that, was to crank my AC down to 60 degrees and live like an Eskimo while trying to game. After using this, I could leave my AC on 68 and my CPU would stay around 80-84c under heavy load. Works great.
