    Love this thing!
I’ve had this on my wishlist for a while. I got a really bad chest cold and decided it was time to get it. It really helped! I like how it moisturized my nasal passages and let me breathe again! I live in the Midwest and it gets really dry in the winter and I think this will get a lot of use! It holds 2 1/2 tablespoons of water and the steam lasts quite a while. I got the menthol pads (sold separately) and that was extra nice! I’m so glad I finally got it!

Two benefits: get well AND a facial!
Great little inhaler/steamer. Been sick a few weeks and this has been making me feel better bc I can inhale through my nose or mouth. Especially like the menthol tablet that comes with unit. Bonus…it also gives you a facial while you’re using it!

    Good Little Steamer
This little steam-maker is not perfect, but it’s pretty darn good. It’s effective at giving temporary relief for congestion during a cold or flu. I’ve used steam therapy for decades, doing it the old-fashioned way with a bowl of hot water and a towel over the head to keep the steam contained. It’s a lot to manage heating up a bowl of water in the middle of the night when you need steam the most. I set this up before bed and when I woke up in the night with sinus pressure and pain all I had to do was flip the switch and wait for the steam to arrive. I do still use a towel over my head to create a chamber full of steam. I find it’s enough to use it on the lower setting when I’m using the towel and I don’t need to get very close to the device as the steam coming out can get uncomfortably hot if you get too close. Heed their instructions not to place your face directly on the mask. The biggest complaint I have is the power supply. The instructions insist that you must plug the unit directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector or extension cord of any kind. Well, in my house it’s pretty hard to find an outlet that works with the short cord provided. At my built-in desks the cord won’t reach around the desktop and below to the wall outlet and if it did, the cord would be dangling in a most dangerous manner. Near tables, the cord won’t reach far enough to access any nearby outlets and again, if it did, it would be a serious tripping hazard, snaking along the floor. It was a puzzle to figure out where I could safely plug it in and use it. Not being an electrician, I’m not sure how seriously to take their fire hazard warnings regarding the use of extension cords or surge protectors, but I know of several house fires that had electrical origins so I’m complying.

    The steam-inhaler causes spills
Steam delivery: Targeted steam delivery that opens nasal passages. Customizable settings to control steam intensity.Product design: It is designed to fit the face comfortably, allowing steam to reach the nose and throat directly.User Friendly: The product is a one-button operation and the assembly is simple. It takes approximately 3 minutes to heat up before it begins producing steam. The critical drawbacks are:Leakage Issues: The unit leaks boiling water even if it is placed in a table and is not tilted or moved even slightly during operation.Short Duration: Due to a small water reservoir and a lot of it leaking-of, the steam production goes on for only a few minutes.

    Quick Relief for Stuffy Days
I’ve been using the Vicks Sinus Inhaler on and off and overall it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The menthol scent is strong but familiar, and it gives almost instant relief when my nose feels clogged or pressure starts building. I like how small and discreet it is. Easy to toss in my purse and use on the go without any mess. This isn’t a long-term fix. The relief is temporary, so if you’re dealing with a full-blown sinus infection or heavy congestion, you’ll probably need something stronger. Also, the menthol can feel intense at first if you’re sensitive to strong smells. For quick, no-meds-needed relief and a refreshing “clear head” moment, it’s reliable. I wouldn’t rely on it alone, but it’s definitely handy to have around, especially during allergy season or travel days.

    Pricy but a good product
Great product and easy to use. It was recommended by my daughter and son-in-law, who got one. While it wasn’t cheep it was well worth the money. My husband and I both came down with something over the holidays and used this to help with our breathing and sinus issues. It’s easy to clean after each use if it’s being used by more than one person.

    This product needs a redesign
I’m going to return this. The water reservoir is really small, and by the time this heats up to provide steam, almost half of it is already gone. I can barely get this to run for a full 5 mins on high, and turning it to low once it’s heated up means you get even less steam. They say to run it for 5-15 mins – but you’d have to refill several times to do that which means opening it when it’s hot. The old days of sitting over a humidifier and putting a towel over your head are looking better than whatever this is. At least it worked! The height of it is also weird. You have to bend your neck to get close enough to it, or else pick it up to bring closer to your face, but with the back getting so hot, it’s a risk to do that. I liked the ability to use tap water but already see a white build up after a few uses and I’m not convinced a vinegar clean will get that out. Yes, that’s my hard water – but then tell us to use distilled instead! I’m giving it a 2 because it does work so far, but I’m sure there are better options out there. It does appear to be safe (no burns) but it’s just not very good for regular use. Save your cash.

It stopped generating steam after 2 days of use. After a gap of a day, it’s working again. Remember it’s a “non-returnable” item so Amazon will not help you in returning it. Very expensive and hard to clean, has a USA charging plug. May be better products are available at a lower price.

Excelente diseño y funcionamiento. Perfecto para alivio al instante, muy diferente a los que tienen como función durar toda la noche.
