My go to simple thermometer!
The Vicks Easy Read Thermometer is super simple to use and gives quick, accurate results. I really like the large, easy-to-read display—it makes checking a temperature stress-free, especially when I’m in a hurry. It’s comfortable to use, and I appreciate that it beeps when it’s done so I’m not left guessing. The flexible tip is a nice touch too, making it gentle and safe for the whole family. It’s pretty good
I have five thermometers, and this is my second favorite. My favorite is my BBT thermometer–that one is very accurate and reliable, but it takes sooo long. This one is really fast, which matters because it’s for use on my toddler, who will not hold still long enough for my other thermometers. I have a forehead infrared thermometer, but that one is very inconsistent and inaccurate. This one seems to be pretty accurate. The display is big, so it’s easy to read the temperature, and I appreciate the color coded light to give me a vibe check at a glance. I don’t care that it doesn’t come with a cover, because I only use it in my toddler’s armpit.

How did I ever live without this. It does all that it says it does. I love the colors that change depending on the temperature reading, and the large numbers. It IS fast! I haven’t taken the time to compare or check accuracy against other thermometers – but assume that Vicks knows what they are doing, and that it will be well within acceptable tollerance for accuracy. That it’s so fast means you get a QUICK read – when children or fussy or feeling badly. That is a GOOD thing. I love it – and I’m so glad we’ve made so much progress on this front. The only thing I don’t know yet, is how long the battery will last. One note – the battery compartment is VERY VERY tight. Not a bad idea to put a little vaseline on the cap when you take it off, to make it easier to spin off next time. Other than that – no concerns at all. Thanks VICKS!

Great for the visually impaired, or anyone who wants a large screen.
My grandmother is visually impaired, so I wished to purchase a thermometer for her to use. Not only is the display big enough, the lighting is great for visibility & determining the severity of one’s temperature! Really easy to use & store. Was a nice price too.

Love this product. It reads so quickly and flashes red for fever, yellow for higher temperature, and green for no fever. It’s stores easily with minimal space. Cleaning it is very quick. Using this product is easy and using it is very basic to understand.
