Good pain relief for pain management if you are able to use.
Works great for me and arthritic knees. Follow instructions as recommended and get relief. Check with your doctor to be sure good price and alwakerp on hand.

It Works
I started using this when it was first available only by prescription, and my pain management doctor was giving out samples of it. Now it’s available OTC, same strength, and much less expensive than prescription. It works better than any topical product, and I can feel relief within about 15-20 minutes. I like that it can be applied directly to the pain area (my neck, and my lower back). It’s like putting Motrin directly on the pain. I read the instructions which specifically states to limit the amount you use, just as you would an oral pain reliever.

Because of my age and still playing golf and walking, inflammation occurs on me most of the time when i over do it. If used as directed this stuff really works for me and there is a measuring stick in the box to go by.Which is basically you take one of your fingers and you just put a strip of the ointment on one of the fingers, that’s all you need for a large area…I use it first thing in the morning after a shower and before I go to bed. Doesn’t stain and shirts or clothes… and depending on how bad the inflammation is, it takes for me no more than two days doing that application to feel relief.

Good Product, Works great on my knee
This works so good on my knee. After wearing heels all day my knee will swell and bother me, I just make sure I use Voltaren accordingly and my knee feels better in no time.

Works, but HIGHLY TOXIC TO CATS
I placed this on my wrist for 21 days for Dequervains tenosynovitis. It really did help to reduce the inflammation, but it was only temporary and, when I stopped applying this, the inflammation came right back. Looks like I’m going to have to get a steroid injection.The really BAD thing about this product is that it is HIGHLY TOXIC TO CATS. If you have cats, you’ll have to go to extreme lengths to prevent them from getting exposed to ANY of this stuff. Even a tiny amount on your hands can be transmitted to them by petting and they will groom it off of their hair. If it gets on anything and they come into contact with it, it can also kill them. I shut off my bathroom, so my cats couldn’t get in there, and was only applying this in the bathroom and then immediately washing my fingers that I used to apply it. Then, I would wait 15 minutes, being careful to not let the gel get on anything (except my wrist where I had applied it) and then I would wrap my wrist carefully and wash my hands, again, before going out of the bathroom. I would remove the wrap in the bathroom, throw it in a covered garbage can, and then wash my hands and wrist carefully. Seriously, if you have cats and you aren’t willing and able to take careful measures to prevent them from coming into contact with any of this stuff, no matter how small of an amount, then don’t use it.
