Super strong
Durable and reliable.Low cost but this thing takes a beating. My dogs chew on everything. Before this control was buying one a month, no joke.10/10 haven’t had to buy a new one in 3 years.

I just got it because I’m an old school keyboard and mouse gamer, and recently got ESO. I decided to train myself to use a controller. I didn’t want to spend a lot, for something I figured would gather dust and not get used. Surprisingly it’s not that hard. I can already function after one night with it. I still use the KB for all the maps and menus, but yeah, I read the bad reviews…Yes it’s cheap, doesn’t feel substantial, and seems like it may break easily, but for the $17 bucks it tells me what I need to know. Now I can spend $30 on a $40 controller that will last better, and this was all I needed to see if it would work for me. The new MSI controller is wireless, so this can be a backup, or for use when the other is charging.For $20 tops, this thing works, will get you going and probably last a couple of months. Mind you I do not play consoles anywhere, nor use controllers, though I have seen and held many. This is in no way as good and the sticks are very light touch, but as stated, for the price it does the job, and if you just need a backup, or something for a month or two while you save to buy one you really want, I’d spend the bucks, it’s not much to lose and I find it a good value for that alone.

I didn’t realize it was an Xbox controller so any issue I have isn’t the fault of the controller. It works great just hard to adjust since I’m use to switch controllers. I use it to play on steam. Would recommend.

Great controller, not for all games.
TL;DR Analog sticks are terrible for games heavily dependent on them. Rest of the controller is greatLet me start off with the positives, This controller is a bargain deal and for the price, i’m not sure if you can get much better than this. I was able to plug the controller into my PC and get playing immediately, no setup needed. The controller feels great in my hand, the buttons have a satisfying feeling to press and everything on the controller works. If that were the end of the review, this would be a 5 star review, 10/10.However, After playing just a few minutes of games with this controller, I noticed a massive flaw that makes this controller pretty much unusable outside of very casual gaming. The analog stick input is awful. When playing forza horizon 5, I noticed i’d be trying to turn the car, only to end up going straight,, missing a turn or crashing into walls, I attributed it to not being used to the new controller, but then I played GTA IV, i’d have issues with driving in that game as well, and movement felt.. weird..I decided there was something definitely wrong here, and so i checked with my old xboxone controller, Smooth sailing and everything was as it should be. So confused, I found a controller checker online and tried to figure out what was up, lo and behold, when doing a circularity test, it finds some deadspots/failure spots in the analog sticks and there it was, the problem. This controller has awful analog sticks because when you tilt them to a certain angle, the input isn’t read, this is terrible for most modern games because movement is supposed to be dynamic, not just up down left and right, the whole point of the analog stick is to be able to go in more than just 4 directions. These analog sticks have trouble with providing accurate input for Northwest, Northeast, Southwest and Southeast. Because of that, I can’t use this controller for most of the games I play and so now I need to buy another one.Buyers beware, if you need to turn both analog sticks accurately at all 350 degrees, this controller will give you a headache and fight you. Other than that, this is a very solid controller.

Great controller to use with both my PC and my Xbox 360. I started playing games on my PC again during the pandemic and while most games do work fine with a keyboard and mouse combo, others are designed to work best with a game pad. While I resisted getting one for a long time, I finally decided that one was really needed to get the full enjoyment from my games, so after checking out the reviews and specs of many pads here on Amazon I ordered this one, and I am very satisfied with my decision. It feels great in my hands, very comfortable and the buttons are very smooth and never stick or jam when pressed. The joysticks are as precise as anyone would want or need, and it just works as well as an original MS game pad would work. Now all I have to do is to get used to using a game pad again because it has been ages since I even played games on my Xbox. So far everything works great and any problems I have are related to my own incompetence, not the quality of the pad. If you are looking for one, you won’t go wrong with this one.

Works perfectly for playing games on Steam. Really nice quality – nothing flimsy, decent weight to it and a fairly long wire. Definitely would recommend for the price
