Simple to put together and sturdy for a 2.8 pound laptop
I like bamboo and so chose this inexpensive model just to raise my laptop to eye level. The bamboo feels nice, finished but not to a gloss. Really, I don’t have much contact with it anyway, just taking the laptop on and off it. It sits nicely on a flat surface and the laptop seems secure. There are two sizes of this stand, so make sure to measure your laptop before purchasing. A good value that is easy to use, adjustable, and aesthetically pleasing!

Perfect way to save space
I got this as a gift for someone who works from home and has a laptop and it worked perfectly to help free space on his desk! It’s easy to use and it feels really sturdy when he’s folded up with the laptop. We tested a few laptops and they all fit!

very sturdy and does the job well
I have a 40 inch monitor with TB3 connection which means only one cable connecting to the laptop. Laying the laptop flat on the table takes up a lot of space which triggered me to look for a stand. I found this two in one stand here, apparently there are multiple vendors with the same design, I just picked whatever the cheapest.Luckily I did, the stand appears to be very well built and holds the laptop well. Not only it fits the m1 macbook pro but also my other laptop Asus Vivobook 16X, I’d say 1 inch give or take is the max opening, I’m surprised it actually fit my dell precision engineering laptop as well!All in all I’m very happy with the purchase, it does what it supposed to do without breaking my bank, I highly recommend this product.

Sturdy but loose.
The item came out exactly how it looked from the picture, I’m very impressed! However, when assembling the pieces together, one side of the hole to fit in the long woodstick was slightly big and it fit loose. Had to improvise and use a tissue to make it fit nicely. Otherwise it’s stabilized and lookin’ good! 😘

Does the job perfectly without breaking the bank! Aesthetically pleasing and matches the color scheme of my setup. Very stable, and versatile.One side fit snug and the other a little looser on the rod, I just took my $1 super glue to one side to secure it. Complete non-issue. Can also hold my keyboard for work! It’s not one of those metal stands you have you have to assemble each time that take up a bunch of room. Very happy with my purchase!

Slot tapers down, so older (fatter) laptops may not fit
Missing from the dimension pic is the width of the slot; it tapers down from about 1.5″ (open end) to about 1″; I had to open it up on a miter saw so that it was 1.5″ all the way to the bottom (older Dell e6430/14″ display). The support bar fits loose on both ends; so I’d opine it’s not terribly “stable”. Laptop essentially serves as NAS storage for all users on network; getting it vertical saved lots of space on my desk. For the $ it’s a good deal if you can make it suit your needs. I rated it 3 because I think it’s neither stable or sturdy; BUT…if you put a drop of wood glue on the ends of the rod it’d be fine – and it looks good once done.

Really creative design!!
Took less than a minute to assemble and squeeze the rod tight to both ends. Super sturdy and great that it came with 3M attachable grips. Very well made, has smooth surfaces for contact with my MacBook, and is super sturdy. I did not have a defective issue like someone else mentioned that one end was loose and rotated freely, but it did take a few tries to get it completely level on both ends (using the grips + the weight of the computer makes this completely a non-issue).Looking to buy a second one – I wish it came it different colors!

It’s light and portable but not quite as sturdy as I’d like. It will not pull apart easily for storage, the horizontal bar fits very tightly into the peg holes so expect a slight fight if you need to disassemble it. If I have to move the laptop a little the whole thing has a slight wobble (I think it could have done with 2x horizontal bars). Also, my 15″ laptop is really a bit big for it, it’s better suited to one 13″-14″ at the most.
